Christopher Cliffe - President CRANAplus; Manager Primary Health Care, RFDS Queensland

Christopher Cliffe is an experienced leader in the field of remote health.  Not only has he lead the charge in improving remote health across the country through taking on leadership roles in organisations such as CRANAplus, he has also worked on a grassroots level, working in various areas across rural and remote Australia.  The skills he has learnt from working in rural and remote Australia have seen him travel further afield, volunteering his time to work with organisations like the Red Cross in war and disaster zones across the world.  To find out more about Chris, click here.


Michael "The Sugarman" Porter - Territory Manager of South Australia, Clinical Specialist, Diabetes Care

Michael, the Sugarman, Porter is a Registered Nurse and credentialed diabetes educator currently working in the far northern and western region of South Australia. In his role as the regional diabetes coordinator he travels with the Flying Doctors Service running diabetes education clinics at various sites around the region.  His work in creating the Sugarman, an interactive tool to teach kids about diabetes has become famous Australia-wide and has been adapted by many organisations as a fun way to teach children about sugar and its complications.  For more info on Michael, click here
